How to do just enough to get by.

And that is NOT how I want them going through the rest of their lives!Shannonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03895587986129795555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2189483120692966494.post-14135063710020581132009-08-15T07:17:58.992-04:002009-08-15T07:17:58.992-04:00I think homeschooling is great but I also don'...I think homeschooling is great but I also don't think that public or private school has to be all bad. I think a lot depends on the parents too. When I was in school I wasn't part of any cliques, I never felt pressured to drink or smoke, I always tried my best, etc.

I think growing up in church and learning how to be a respectful and good person showed me that I didn't want to be like other people. Maybe I'm just an oddity? lol

But I will definitely agree that you can avoid all those (or most) of those things by homeschooling. As kids grow older they try harder to find their own independence it will be easier for them to stay on the right path when the wrong ones aren't surrounding them every day.Hollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15431384515813384025noreply@blogger.com
