17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.
Oh honey, I've read through all your blogs that I've missed with tears streaming down my face (I'm so sorry school has me wanting to rip my hair out)! But school seems like nothing compared to what you are going through. I love this verse in this post. I'm praying that things lift up and God embraces you with his prescense. You have been through hell and back and you deserve to rejoice in his glory rather than feeling alone like you are. If you need ANYTHING, please email me paramore05@ymail.com
ReplyDeleteI actually thought of you the other day when I was thinking that my niece should be here in a month and it made me think of your beautiful daughter. I know the two of them are running around heaven!

Thank you for sharing this verse. I don't think this is one I have read in a long time.
ReplyDeleteEmily-
ReplyDeleteThanks for loving on me when you are having such a hard time. Your words always lift me up. You are such a sweet blessing to me.
I needed this verse too. Thank you for sharing. It's been a roller coaster week.
